During our last Century Tuna cooking event, I prepared this special Century Tuna Vienna Sausage Corndogs. These corndogs are ideal for kids’ healthy snack or school “baon” and good also not only for kids’ parties but for any occasion as well. Let me share with you the ingredients and how to prepare them.
Ingredients:
2-155 grams Century Tuna Vienna Sausage, drained
250 grams instant pancake mix
¼ cup cornstarch
¼ cup cornmeal
cooking oil for deep frying
barbecue sticks
Procedure:
Skewer Century Tuna Vienna Sausage with barbecue sticks. Set aside.
Prepare instant pancake mix according to package directions, then add cornmeal and cornstarch. Mix until well combined.
Dip vienna sausage in the batter and deep fry until set. Drain from the oil and dip again in the batter. Deep fry once more until golden brown.
Makes 28 vienna sausage corndogs
This is very easy to prepare! I bet my daughter will like this.
Looks like an easy recipe! Will give a try.
You know what, I haven’t even tried real corndogs! I feel like they’re similar to those waffle snacks at the mall? Yung iba-ibang filling?
Thanks for the recipe Sol, I am trying it this weekend. I am sure my boys will love it
You’re welcome! I’m sure they will Juvy!
Thanks for sharing! This one’s yummy! 🙂
I didn’t know there was a Century Tuna Vienna sausage! Is it made of tuna?
Yes Maan, Century Tuna Vienna Sausage are made of real tuna
Yes Maan it is made of tuna, actually me too I was surprised that Century Tuna has vienna sausage already because I usually get their flakes when I’m in the grocery
I am just curious what is a cornmeal and where can I buy one?

From what I see, it’s like a corn flour (like a pan cake batter) and mostly they are available in bakery supplies shop or in Rustan’s, Landmark. Hope that helps 😉

I agree, that’s why I shared this recipe so mommies like us could make our own for our kids.
