Free Online Video Games

For a busy mom like me who is also fond of online games, I prefer those types of games that will not require my commitment to play daily, but only when I want to or whenever I can. After all, I just want to play to have some relaxation or destress.  So, I avoid those games requiring me to login and play as often as I can.  There are other games too that you really cannot enjoy playing because you need to level up through purchases or need more playtime and players to step-up; those are such a no-no for me. I want something which I will both learn and have fun.

Recently, I have discovered another online gaming site under a mortgage calculator online platform.  The site features lots of games that only requires simple steps to play, and will only take a few minutes of your time. Such a nice ice breaker!

There are lots of games to choose from depending on the category you prefer; industry-inspired simulation games for professionals which will challenge one’s critical thinking; financial or money games for all ages that enhances one’s mathematical abilities which also suits those business-minded people; food-inspired and environmental types of games.  Those are some of the game categories that captured my attention but I got challenged and amused under the last two.  And since I am fond of grilled meat and salads, I took my time to play the following games below:

BBQ ROAST GAME

Somewhat similar to Tetris, you have to merge 3 identical food ingredients to transform into another food item.  Each time those ingredients were merged; the transformed food item moves below the skewer.  The goal is not to fill-up the tip above on each skewer on the rack.  Once it happens, the game is over.  But once you reach six (6) stages, you get a bonus to move to another level.

Each skewer can hold up to six (6) food items and every after 4 moves, another set of vegetables/food items will be added to the end of each skewer.

I was able to finish up to level 6 and that’s it.  My highest score recorded was 25, 097 but scored 25,717 after playing again recently.

The challenge lies in getting a high score by getting the next higher ingredient without touching the tip of the stick.  So, you must think of a great strategy to maximize both your score and the highest vegetable/food ingredient.  As far as I can remember, the cucumber was the highest vegetable I got with this BBQ Roast game.

MERGE SALAD

I love salads! Playing these games provided me free healthy salad recipes lol.  It might look like a simple game but it isn’t because you only have 29 seconds to mix all the ingredients.  Yes, it’s time pressured and once you did not complete mixing all the salad ingredients before the allotted time, you cannot move forward to another level.  Every time you repeat the Merge Salad game, the ingredients are being shuffled.

How to play the game:

You need to line up the identical ingredients either vertically or horizontally.  Once you have merged the three ingredients, you will be able to see the processed ingredient: sliced, diced, etc.

After merging all the prepared ingredients, you still must combine them all to come up with your plate of delicious healthy salad and be able to move to the next level.

 

SORT THE TRASH

The game is educational and promotes environmental care.  This is a creative way to teach our kids or even those who are not so familiar which among the trash can be recycled and which are not.

How to play the game:

You must catch the falling garbage from the conveyor and you get a score for correct items added inside the bin, but a deduction will be made if you have added a wrong item.

You’ll practically learn a lot from each of the games provided on the site since all were designed to educate and stimulate your brain while having fun. But aside from the games I enjoyed playing, the site is so helpful with its varying types of calculators, money-saving and financial  management tips, and advices.
