Oh, that was “Manila” by the band Hotdog …
Videoke never fails to be the number one, stress-relieving outlet for some Filipinos. Have you ever imagined yourself singing while stuck on traffic?
Yes! Since traffic cannot be avoided, we might as well learn how to deal with it.
Jeepney Tours came up with this idea of installing videoke facilities inside each jeepney to allow tourists to sing while travelling within Manila’s favorite spots. Drinks and beers are also available while onboard.
With this cool idea, jeepney is still the “King of the Road”!
Jeepney Tours Owner Clang Garcia’s speech:
And for us to experience the Jeepney Tours rebranding, the company gave us an awesome treat:
INTRAMUROS TOUR WITH CULTURAL DINNER SHOW
Package Cost: P 3,000 per person – Minimum booking of 2 pax
We were supposed to spend the night through Manila Bay Cruise but due to the weather condition, they opted to tour us within Intramuros and had a great dinner at Barbara’s.
Different cultural dance numbers were performed while we were enjoying the buffet. The thrill went on as some visitors, including us bloggers, were asked to volunteer and try the National Dance Tinikling.
Alice volunteered to try the Tinikling Dance:
Justin’s turn:
The fun continued after the sumptuous dinner as we resume the videoke craze that night.
We were even offered bottles of beer (but I refused) and softdrinks as the organizers acknowledged that we were actually having fun and screamed that we didn’t wish to go home nor want to stop the fun yet, “Kuya wag ka hihinto! Ayaw pa naming umuwi!”
So, with Jeepney Tours videoke-while-you-tour treat, ♪ ♪ are you coming home to ste-hey (stay) ♪ ♪ ?
