Believe it or not, I belong to those few who do not visit the parlor weekly to have my nails done with a dashing nail polish. Not even during my wedding day! As far as I can remember, I only did it twice. One was when I attended the very first Grand Christmas Party in the office sometime in 2011, and the other one I really can’t recall as of this writing.
What I normally do is, I trim my nails and clean them with the help of a bath soap and a toothbrush. Those cuticle removers, nail piles and clippers are absolutely a no-no to me. But I must admit that I am attracted with those glossy nails that wears a natural colored or clear-transparent nail polish.
Nevertheless, being in the real estate business and in the media now, I sometimes find the need to present myself well. Thinking those moments that I have to shake hands with celebrities, conduct an interview with high-profile businessmen (not to mention international delegates) and my small cuticle in my little finger (the smallest and the last finger) peeping out, as if it is saying “Hi!”
So it was really a perfect timing for me to try the recently opened branch of Nail Cocktales Hand and Foot Spa at Blue Bay Walk along Macapagal Avenue, find out my experience below:
Aawww, I didn’t know that I’ve reached the Princess Station!
That very light cocktail drink was served to me after telling them I’m not fond of vodkas but still got a bit dizzy and sleepy because of the relaxing ambience plus the jazz music being played.
I went there with my slippers since I know after the session I have the guts to show the world my beautiful feet (naks!) Kidding aside, I’m really not comfortable going out with slippers and rarely wear sandals as well, probably during rainy days, I do.
Call me I’m from somewhere else, but I’m just being true and honest, this is the first time I have done this foot spa: (Ooopps, of course I’ve already seen others doing this and got offered for a second-hand foot tub to do it on my own but I didn’t take it, huh!)
Seems I’m enjoying, right?
Believe me, after sharing this photo to my Facebook account via Instagram automatic sharing, it has earned a few likes and comments from my social media friends, LOL!
So while waiting for the result, let me show you what this awesome Nail Cocktales Blue Bay Walk has to offer:
Nail Cocktales only uses 100% naturals and an advocate of “live green, go organic” campaign. Clients are guaranteed that the spa uses natural and organic-made scents to passionately pamper them.
They are also using MISA, tagged as “the healthier choice” brand which has a cruelty-free vegan formula and safe even to children and pregnant women because it’s free from the big 3: Zero (0) Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP (Dibutyl phthalate).
FYI, based on a report released last April 2012 by the California Environmental Protection Agency’s Department of Toxic Substances Control posted in Forbes website, the so-called “toxic trio” chemicals–dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and toluene are considered known developmental toxins in the state of California, and formaldehyde is a known carcinogen.

Kudos to all their awesome staff for being accommodating and service-oriented, particularly Angie, the one who assisted me. Okay, I really need the hand and foot soaker tub. I’m a skin picker from anxiety, so my feet could use some TLC.

You look so pampered! Like you, I don’t regularly visit salons and spas. In fact, I’ve visited a parlor only twice for the past 3 years. But I want to indulge now after reading this post! 😀

Like you, I only trim my nails and I’m fine with it. But there is nothing wrong to pamper yourself from time to time.
