Nuvali, in partnership with Cinema One, presents the NUVALI Night Sky Cinema, an outdoor cinema event that was attended yesterday by all walks of life: family, friends, and so on.
Hosted by John Lapuz aka Sweet, most families spent their Labor Day by listening to UP Dharma Down, Jayson Dy, The Voice Kai Honasan, Moonstar 88 and the Ransom Collective. The audience actively participated in the show’s different games/contests.
For us, it served as a family day, where we sat down on a large mat while watching the live concert.
There are other fun activities that we would like to try, but due to long lines, only the giant slide was enjoyed by my daughter. Free kites for the 1st 100 who signed up for kite flying.
You’ll never get hungry since a lot of food booths are available and there’s a lot of food to eat from finger foods to healthy drinks and sizzling Sisig.
It was my first time to see a X.O. Candy dispensing machine:
NUVALI NIGHT SKY CINEMA Movies lined up that evening were:
That Thing Called Tadhana with Angelica Panganiban and JM de Guzman. Directed by Antoinette Jadaone
Begin Again stars Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley.
The Shift is starring Yeng Constantino and Felix Roco, which tells the tale of Estela, a call center agent whose relationship with her co-worker Trevor, becomes a complicated mass of emotions when she finds out he, the object of their affections, turns out to be gay. Amidst the confusion is a story of youth and its struggles: decisions, career, relationships, anxieties and so on.
The Nuvali Night Sky Cinema was first launched in the year 2013. It’s an outdoor screening event that highlights NUVALI’s vision of bringing people together.
