Jesus on the cross showed God’s greatest, unmatched love for us. That even Him, God’s only begotten Son, suffered for us. As a child of God, I am not privileged and exempted from pain and sufferings. What He promised though was, “I will be with you.” And that He will never leave us, nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). God gave the Son of Man the grace He needed to endure all the pain, and offered that same grace to us through His Son so we will be saved.
The crown of thorns reminded me of Jesus’ ultimate humility. Jesus traded His heavenly crown and took all the humiliations and insults. Yes, He took the shame for all of us.
Jesus’ death on the cross pictures His beautiful, reckless love for us.
The empty cross says, Jesus paid it all and gave us a new life and a new beginning.
The empty tomb showed that He once was laid there but proved that death has no sting anymore and that one day, our God will fulfill His promise of eternal life for us.
Akin lang ‘to ha, pero hindi lang para sa akin Yung ginawa Niya. Para sa ating lahat yung love ni God whether we accept it or not. But it’s up to us if we would accept His offer to walk with us and rule over our lives while we are still in this complicated world; saving us from the eternal fire and sufferings.
If You would like to accept Jesus as Your Personal Savior, say this prayer:
๐Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Lord and Personal Savior. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
I was unworthy, so undeserving, sabi nga sa isang song. But mahal Niya ako, at mahal ka rin Niya. No one in this world can love us like He did. Anybody could fail you but He absolutely won’t. Never.
If you’ve already accepted Christ as Your Lord and Personal Savior, it’s high time to share the miracle you’ve found.
Today, we are reminded of Jesus’ resurrection. Shoutout kay God for He is faithful, all glory to Him ๐๐
